2. Miit Coffee
Miit started as a bar and bicycle workshop. It’s now a sleek coffee bar with a vegetarian twist, and the workshop is hidden downstairs. Their weekend pancake brunch breakfasts are a big draw, and they run from 11am – 4pm on Saturdays. A buffet table is laden with miniature pancakes, ranging from classic to spinach, chocolate, and poppy. Frutever is a small vegetarian restaurant in Riga. It’s bright and airy, serves great food, and has the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to linger. 4. Raw Garden
With three branches, Raw Garden is one of the most popular vegetarian restaurants in Riga. It’s also one of the healthiest. The menu is packed with nutritious options, which are free from gluten, sugar, lactose and preservatives. Raw options include summer rolls and cannelloni, while the cooked menu is more extensive. Raw Garden even has its own bakery, using ingredients like avocado, coconut oil, and cashew nuts. The cakes look almost too perfect to eat. 5. Bhajan
A quirky restaurant in the Embassy district of Riga, Bhajan serves vegetarian and vegan food. The menu isn’t entirely Indian-inspired, although Bhajan does offer Indian sweets and stuffed parathas with various fillings. Buddha is one of the fancier vegetarian restaurants in Riga. Located near the National Opera in the Old Town, it transforms into a late cocktail bar during the summer.
